FBC was formed in July 1985 by a group of keen birders with the aim of providing more information and better facilities for those interested in the birds of mainland Fife. For a more detailed overview – see About Us.
FBC produces an annual bird report for Fife. The first Fife Bird Report was published in 1988. For more info and to see an excerpt from a recent report – see Fife Bird Reports.
In addition FBC produces a Monthly Newsletter and three times a year a club magazine, Scope. For past examples of both, follow the links.
The club has three hides: at Fife Ness, Edenside and Kilconquhar Loch. To find out more – see FBC hides.
The club has regular indoor meetings and outings to good birding locations both in Fife and further afield. For more information, see – Meetings & Outings. For upcoming activities, see – Events.
